- 설교로서의 야보고서 연구 -
야고보서는 신약성경에서 일반서신에 속하는 편지로 알려져 있다. 때로 설교자는 쉽게 야고보서를 설교하거나 가르치기를 소원한다, 그 러나 설교자가 야고보서를 설교하는 것이 쉽지 않다는 것을 곧바로 느 낀다. 왜냐하면 야고보서가 바울이 주장하는‘오직 믿음’이라는 복음 보다, 행위로 의로움을 증명하는 일에 초점이 맞춰져 있기 때문이다. 게다가, 설교자는 야고보서의 일부 본문들을 설교 본문으로 선택하는 것을 망설일 때가 있다. 왜냐하면 야고보서는 느슨한 문학 구조로 연결 되어 있는 양상을 지니고 있기 때문이다. 그러므로 설교자들은 야고보 서를 해석하는데 종종 어려움을 겪곤 한다. 그러나 만일 설교자가 야고보서를 설교라고 생각할 수 있다면, 설교 자는 야고보서의 구조와 통일성, 미사여구를 이해하는데 도움을 받을 수 있다. 왜냐하면 예수의 형제이며 예루살렘의 설교자였던 야보고가 창세기 1~4장을 설교한 것이 바로 야고보서이기 때문이다. 사실, Daniel M. Doriani와 Douglas J. Moo는 이미 야고보를 설교자 라고 주장했다. 그리고 Joel B. Green은 야고보서를 가리켜, 설교자 야 고보가 팔레스타인에 흩어져 살고 있는 유대인 그리스도인들을 위해 창 1-4장을 설교한 것이라 주장했다. 이런 점에서 본 논문은 야고보서를 설교라는 측면에서 연구한 것이 다. 다시 말해, 논문은 설교로서의 야고보서를 탐구한 것이다. 우선적 으로 논문은 야보고는 누구인가, 야고보서는 설교인가를 간략히 서술 하였다. 둘째로 논문은 하이델베르크 설교 분석방법을 활용하여 설교 로서의 야고보서 내에 있는 설교학적 요소들을(설교자, 설교 본문, 청 중, 설교 구조, 수사방법 등등) 파악하였다.
A Study on The Letter of James as a Sermon
The Letter of James belongs to the Catholic Epistles in the New Testament. And sometimes, the preacher wishes to preach or teach simply the Letter of James. However, it is difficult that a preacher composes a sermon with that. This is because the Letter of James focuses on more works-righteousness than Paul’s gospel of Sola Fide. In addition, as James has a cohesive literary connection poorly, especially since several passages of the Letter of James used to be generally overlooked or ignored sermon texts, preachers used to be in trouble interpreting the Letter of James. However, if the preacher thinks of the Letter of James as a sermon, the preacher can understand the structure, unity, and rhetoric of the Letter of James. This is because it can be a sermon that was written by James(the Brother of the Lord, James of Jerusalem) as a preacher through Genesis chapters 1-4. In fact, Daniel M. Doriani & Douglas J. Moo spoke that James is a preacher. And Joel B. Green insists on the letter of James is a sermon that James composed for living in the exilic life of the community of Christfollowers with Genesis chapters 1-3[4]. Therefore, this paper is to study the letter of James as a sermon. To begin with, this paper study who is James, Is the letter of James is a sermon, and so on, Secondly, this article delves into the elements of homiletics(preacher, sermon text and audience, the structure of a sermon, rhetorical method, and so on) in the letter of James by using the Heidelberg method of sermon analysis.
