- 기독 청소년의 균형 잡힌 신앙생활에 대한 이중 소명의 이해와 적용 -
본 연구의 목적은 이중 소명(Double Calling)을 중심으로 기독 청소 년의 균형 잡힌 신앙생활(Balanced Faith Life)을 위한 적용방안을 고 찰하는 것이다. 본 연구는 John R. W. Stott가 제시한 교회론적 관점 (Ecclesiological Perspective)인 이중 정체성(Double Identity)을 기초 로 하여 소명을 재 이해하고 이중 소명을 개념화하였다. 일반적으로 소 명은 직업과 관련된 교회 밖의 개념으로 이해되고 있지만 소명은 교회 의 존재목적에 비추어 볼 때 교회 안팎 모두 적용될 수 있는 포괄적인 개념이다. 이중 소명의 개념에 따라 기독 청소년은 교회 안팎 모든 소명 영역에서 하나님을 동일하게 섬기도록 부름 받았다. 또한 기독 청소년 은 하나님의 지속적인 부르심에 순종으로 응답함으로 하나님을 위한 일에 참여하게 된다. 본 연구는 지금까지 살펴본 이중 소명의 신학적 개 념을 바탕으로 기독 청소년의 균형 잡힌 신앙생활을 위해 2가지 적용점 을 제시하였다. 첫째, 하나님이 위탁한 모든 소명영역에 대해 성실성 (Integrity)의 자세가 요청된다. 둘째, 하나님을 위한 지속적인 이중 소 명에 우선순위(Priority)의 방법이 요청된다. 본 연구는 교회론적인 관 점에서 소명이 재 이해되고, 이중 소명을 중심으로 기독 청소년들의 균 형 잡힌 신앙생활을 위한 적용점을 모색했다는데 연구의 의의가 있다.
An Understanding and Application of Double Calling for a Balanced Faith Life of Christian Youth
The purpose of this study is to examine the application of a balanced Christian life among Christian youth, with a focus on ‘Double Calling’. This study re-examined the ‘calling’ and conceptualized ‘Double Calling’ based on John R. W. Stott’s ‘Double Identity’ from an ecclesiological perspective. In general, ‘calling’ is understood to be a job-related concept outside the church. However, ‘calling’ is a comprehensive concept that can be applied both inside and outside the local church in consideration of its purpose of existence. According to the concept of ‘Double Calling’, Christian youth are called to serve God equally in all calling areas inside and outside the local church. In addition, Christian youth contribute to the mission for God by consistently responding in obedience to God’s calling. Based on the theological concept of ‘Double Calling’, this study suggests two application points for a balanced Christian life for Christian youth. First, the attitude of integrity is requested for all calling areas entrusted by God. Second, a method of priority is requested for continuous ‘Double Calling’ for God. This study is significant because the ‘calling’ is reinterpreted from the ecclesiological perspective and it seeks to find an application point for a balanced Christian life that is centred on the ‘Double Calling’ for Christian youth.
