- 대조를 활용한 내러티브 본문에서의 설교 방법 연구 : 사무엘상 17장을 중심으로 -
수사학에서 대조는 설득의 중요한 방식으로 언급된다. 하지만 성경 에서는 단순한 설득을 넘어서 하나님과의 소통의 방법으로 활용된다. 하나님은 태초에 빛과 어두움을 가르셨고, 무질서에서 질서를 만드셨 다. 아담에게 먹을 수 없는 선악과와 먹을 수 있는 다른 과일들을 대조 하셨고, 이후 사람들에게 하나님의 법을 따르는 길과 어기는 길이 제시 되었다. 하나님께 속한 자들은 하나님이 기뻐하시는 길로 행하게 되고, 하나님께 속하지 않는 자들은 자신의 욕망을 따라 다른 길을 택하게 된 다. 성경에서는 이 두 길의 끝을 명확하게 보여준다. 이런 대조를 통해 하나님의 뜻을 따라 살라고 요청하는 것이다. 저자가 청중을 통해 대조 를 활용했다면 설교자도 성경 본문에서 활용하고 있는 대조를 통해 청 중들을 진리로 이끌어야 할 것이다. 내러티브는 성경의 다른 장르보다 대조를 확인하기 어렵지만, 또한 장르의 특성상 대조를 가장 적극적으로 사용한다. Pratt은 성경 내러티 브의 구조를 크게‘상승’과‘하강’으로 파악하였다. 이와 같은 플롯구 조 연구는 성경 본문에서 대조를 확인하는데 도움을 준다. 또한 내러티 브는 인물, 배경, 사건에서의 대조를 통해서 긴장과 이야기의 진전을 이룬다. 따라서 본 논문은 성경 본문에서 구조와 내러티브 3요소를 통 해서 대조를 확인하는 법을 제시하고자 한다. 그리고 이 과정을 통해 확인된 대조를 어떻게 설교 작성에 활용해야 하는지도 확인하고자 한다. Lowry는 설교 작성에서‘하강’에서‘상 승’으로 반전되는 구조를 제시하여 대조를 활용한 설교 작성에 유용한 방식을 제공하고 있다. 하지만 몇 가지 주의사항을 염두하지 않으면 대 조가 저자의 의도를 벗어날 수 있다. 설교를 작성할 때는 하나의 완성 된 플롯을 본문으로 설정해야 하며, 내러티브의 부분을 선택하여 설교 해야 할 때도 설교자는 전체의 플롯을 이해해야 한다. 또 3대지 설교가 아닌 대조를 살릴 수 있는 원포인트 설교가 되게 하고, 이분법적 설교 를 통해 우리를 선으로, 우리 밖을 악으로 인식시켜서는 안 되고, 그리 스도 중심의 설교를 통해 가 되게 해야 한다. 이 세 가지 주의점을 인식 하며 본문에서 사용된 대조를 활용하여 설교를 작성할 때 청중은 하나 님이 제시하시는 길을 명확하게 확인하고 그 길을 걸어가게 될 것이다.
A Study on the Method of Preaching in Narrative texts Using Contrast : Focusing on 1 Samuel 17
The rhetoric refers to contrast as an important way of persuasion. However, in the Bible, it is used as a method of communication with God beyond simple persuasion. In the beginning, God divided light and darkness and created order in the universe. God taught people how to follow his laws those who lived in sin. Those belonging to God follow the way God is pleased, and those who do not belong to God choose another way according to their desire. The Bible clearly shows the end of these two paths. When a preacher chooses the text of the Bible using contrast, he or she must ask to live according to God’s will through contrast. The Bible suggested the path of life and the path of death, but the preacher should not only convey the path of life or the path of death. Narratives are more difficult to identify contrasts than other genres of the Bible, but it is used most actively in this genre. This paper aims to suggest a method of finding contrast through plot structure and through the three elements of narrative: characters, setting and events. And also I will try to find out how to use the contrast found through this process in writing sermons. I also want to add some precautions. Contrast may deviate from the author’s intentions unless the following points are taken into consideration. First of All, when writing a sermon, the text should be set as a completed plot. And preaching should not be a three-points preaching, but a one-point preaching that uses contrast effectively. Finally, It is not a dichotomous sermon, but a Christ-centered sermon. When writing a sermon using the contrast used in the text, paying attention to these three things, the audience will clearly identify the way God presents and walk along the way.
